earlier today i was trying to explain to morgan why i thought this trailer was better than the first one, but blake just summed up every reason i have for defending this movie. i want to watch it because it’s about Spider-Man and so i am going to watch it.

now, i hear what you’re saying: “Jason, that sort of brand loyalty is what leads to the production of so much derivative, un-original and ‘safe’ entertainment, and it makes you the worst kind of person”. but what you don’t understand is that… uh…
