Fast food chain Chick-fil-A has decided to give financial support to a series of conferences being held in Pennsylvania called “The Art of Marriage.” The decidedly anti-gay conferences are being sponsored by Chick-fil-A and the Pennsylvania Family Institute, which is the state’s largest anti-gay group.
This is the second time Chick-fil-A has supported the work of an anti-gay group. In 2009, Change.org reported Chick-fil-A had supported Focus on the Family, an extremely vocal and powerful group whose mandate includes reparative therapy programs and giving major support to campaigns that want to pass anti-gay legislation.
Well, that about wraps that up. You know, I never ate at Chik-fil-A much before, but now I have a reason for it!
Morgan has graciously pointed out (in the comments) that this is, in fact, not at all true. I stand immediately, and wholly, corrected.
